Dear members, players sponsors and supporters,
It is with sadness I inform you all that Mr. Carl Lindner, Tanunda Football Club playing legend, Coach, President and Patron passed away early Sunday morning at his home after a long battle with illness.
Carl has long been a fervent and passionate member of our football family for many decades and will be sadly missed.
His family have asked the TFC for a guard of honour to be formed as his funeral cortège passes the oval after 2.30pm This Friday at the Bilyara Road gates. Players to wear club jumpers, seniors to pull on the prison bars jumpers and all others to wear their current kit. Officials and supporters to wear their club shirts.
There will not be a public funeral, it will be very private, a celebration of his life will be held at Seppeltsfield Barrel hall at a time and date to be named. We will fall in behind the cortège and make our way up to the Tanunda Clubhouse where an informal gathering is being held.
I ask that all of you who can please make this effort to be at the oval on Friday. For those that do not have links to this message can someone please pass it on.
